You just won’t have access to some of the cheat codes that the Patron version has. The game starts off simple. You’re a college freshman who is trying to get by and make some dosh. Lucky for you, you land a paid internship as a lab assistant at your university. It’s a pretty cushy job, and you’ll finally be able to contribute some money for rent and groceries. Since, of course, you live with your mom and little sister. For the summer, your objective is to make money at this gig while balancing time with your family and friends.

Sneak into a Sketchy Lab and Make Serums that Weaken Inhibitions

But things aren’t as simple as they seem. You find some research documents for this strange serum being produced in the lab that appears to weaken others’ inhibitions when they ingest it. Being a horny college-kid, you steal the documents and learn how to make the various versions of the serum. It takes some time to collect supplies, but you’ll be pumping out vials of this shit like crazy. You just need to make sure that the busty scientist slut in charge doesn’t catch on to what you’re doing. You really need to put your thinking caps on and work for this shit. Solid Writing but Lackluster Visual & Audio Design

You can expect some solid writing. None of it will be incredibly moving or anything like that, but Vren managed to capture the hot hypnosis themes pretty well. But, man, the fucking music was driving me up a goddam wall. It’s the same three or four-chord piano riff over and over again. It never fucking changes. It’s the same repetitive track throughout the entire goddam game. I felt like I was being hypnotized into a rage by this shit. It would be better if there were any other sounds at all, but that’s all that you get in terms of audio design in Lab Rats. I wasn’t big on the visuals. You work so hard only to get some pretty janky sex scenes where no actual fucking happens. The characters strip and get into lewd positions while saying some erotic dialog lines, but that’s it. There aren’t any full illustrations, animations, or standard scenes. And these models have strange colorful outlines around them and thick lines that make them look poorly drawn, but perhaps that’s just me.
