There are all sorts of gaming simulators out there. Since the early days of video games, there has been all manner of dating emulators. Nowadays, every major studio is coming out with their own version of business management experience, and there are some decent sex sims, too.

But there are not too many games out there which combine all three of those genres into a single package.

Since I am so dedicated to finding every kind of noteworthy game which has loads of nudity and even more explicit material than that, I dug this one up. Porn Empire is a fairly recent game that has its high and low points but is something you should consider looking into.

The First Release From A Young Studio

My research indicates that the makers of this game, PEdev are new to the gaming scene. In fact, it looks like Porn Empire is the first full virtual experience they have made.

This gave me a little pause when you consider the fact that the first project meant that it wouldn’t be all that great. Certainly, the original version, released back in October 2019, wasn’t a shining gem. However, this game has seen some considerable improvement in that time.

I, for one, am glad that I did this review when I did, since looking at the most recent version changed my whole opinion about this erotic experience.

With This Sim, There Are Many Ways to Play

At its core, this game is primarily about managing a business – a smut studio to be specific. So, much of what you do involves juggling finances while trying to make a profit promoting porn. And this isn’t just limited to recruiting raunchy models either.

As the owner, you’ve got to hire and manage makeup artists, personal assistance, even security guards among almost a dozen more roles.

Not only that, but you’ve got to balance their workload with their pay rate, to keep their happiness rating. As the saying goes, happy employees are productive ones, so if you let their level of contentment slip bad things follow.

The most important aspect of the game is obviously getting new talent. In the fictitious town, set for some reason in the real country of Andorra, there are several locales you can visit to do this. To get a girl to join your studio, you’ve got to dialogue with her in just the right way, so she’s convinced this is a great business opportunity.

Each model is unique and has a set of skills and stats, which might make them a boon to your business. However, if you’re not careful, they might break you.

The basic stats which determine a model’s attractiveness include Fitness, Beauty, intellect, and Sex Skills. As you would guess, the higher those base stats, the more a performer is going to charge.

And just like in the real world, the most attractive and skilled talent will demand far more for individual acts. For example, a girl-girl scene will run you more than a photoshoot, and even more for a boy-girl scene than the first two.

Further, just like your production crew, you’ve got to keep the performing girls happy, too.

Once you’ve passed that stage, then the real fun begins.

This extremely erotic experience allows you to direct all sorts of fun films. Besides picture sessions, you can organize solo scenes, lesbian encounters, and threesomes if either the FFM or MMF variety. While they are expensive if you have the money you can even do gangbangs.

There are tons of studios to pick from, but just remember shooting in those is going to cost you, too. In my experience, starting out can be a little tricky at first. And throughout specific points, running the business can be, well, about as tedious as running a real business sometimes.

But stick it out long enough, and you’ll be treated to some wholly intractable sex scenes which literally put you in the director’s position.

You can program in a series of fun sex positions, which are only limited by the number of models performing. There are additional options to control the speed of the copulating and randomize the positions used. Best of all, with the click of a button, you decide when everyone cums!

The Characters Are Well-drawn But a Bit Stiff

With each playthrough, you can have a unique look in more ways than one.

The most important thing to mention are the huge number of porn performers you can hire. Of the dozens of dames, there are all kinds of body types and ethnic backgrounds to select. And keeping with the porn theme, you can dress them in several kinky customs. There are even some recent mods which include

The avatar porn director you play as can have his appearance customized a bit, too. Beyond that, you can punch in your character’s biographical stats like date of birth, country of origin, and other fun details.

There are several locations to do the “dirty deed,” as I mentioned. However, not all of them seem to look equally as lovely. To make things even weirder, some of the backgrounds seem to use a different drawing style compared to the characters.

It isn’t a consistent problem for me, but I think this shift in style might throw some of you a bit off.

But Where, Oh, Where Did the Sound Go?

I’m not the most musically apt guy out there, but I understand the human need to hear things when interacting with them. This is especially important in video games since music draws you into the experience, and sound effects give you a feedback cue when you make an action.

For some reason, Porn Empire has only a few basic sounds incorporated into it. When you click on just about any button, you here a bland ‘click’ noise. When fucking, the characters do make some moans and groans. But it’s so mechanical and unvaried it gets old real quick. And the cum noises sound like someone drop a wet mess in the toilet.

*Blech!*

For reasons I still don’t understand, there isn’t much in terms of music either. Or to be more specific, there isn’t any music at all, which I don’t understand. You would think the devs could go over to Fiver and hire a music student to come up with a few tracks for cheap. That or they could download some ’70s porn-inspired, copyright-free pieces off of one a dozens of sites.

The eerie silence isn’t enough to ruin the game for me, but I would recommend plugging your headphones in and jamming out to your favorite tunes. Come to think of it, during the sex sequences, try opening a browser tab to a random porn tube vid. I found it helped heighten the experience a lot.

The Homepage Is Loaded Up With Tips and Hints

Outside of the triple-A titles which come from the big guys, a lot of gamers might find themselves SoL when it comes to getting a game guide. This is especially true when it comes to simulators and games from upstart developers.

While not uncommon, there are a good number of games that get a following, and the fan base sets up a helpful wiki. Sadly, I’ve found that even the better ones are incomplete and continually undergoing revisions.

I am glad to say that Porn Empire does have a few posts which give you some hints on how to expand your gameplay options. A few are located on the promo site, but you can even more if you are a Patreon supporter.

There are not that many right now, but given how regularly they make additions, there are sure to be more tips in the future. If you can’t wait, just hope on to the community section on the Porn Empire Discord server. There’s always someone there whose able to answer a few questions.

Just About Anyone Can Enjoy This Sultry Simulator

As long as you have a somewhat modern machine, you should have no problem being able to download this sim. Like most games that have come out, you can get Porn Empire for Android, but iPhone and iPad users are out of luck.

However, just like there is a Linux and personal computer option, there is an Apple version for those who own a Mac-based desktop.

It’s not too unusual to find multiple links to a game on the net, but this game seems to be exceptionally popular all over the interwebs. Besides the main download option available on the Porn Empire Patreon page, there are about two dozen sites with the latest version available.

There Is a Lot to Love…

Between the sheer number of interactable and big-breasted babes, you can have fun with there are a few more things to praise about this porn game. Clearly, the developers are devoted to making this game even better as they have come out with two new versions within six months of release, plus a few more additions.

These add-ons include new locations, even more girls, other body types, and much more. With this production schedule and the fact that they are still looking for donors, this means that the designers will continue making more upgrades for months to come.

…And Only a Few Things I Hated

Officially, this game is free to download, and there are several places to find it. However, out of the two dozen some sites I referred to, a lot of them link you offsite to a download page that charges you for the game.

Worse, rather than cost $1 for the most recent incarnation of the game, you might have to spend something like twenty bucks for access. To make things even more obnoxious, you’ll have to spend more time signing up with a different website.

While it is cool that there are new versions coming out all of the time, I do wish PEdev would put more work into selling their game. Even on their own website, they describe the game and any new additions with simple, punchy text.

Yes, I know this may sound like a petty thing to bring up. But if I were promoting a game, I would completely reformat the text, add some color to a little, and include some sweet graphics to get people excited.

(In case the folks at PEdev read this, I might be able to carve out some time to make these improvements.)

As I noted, the graphics are good enough, but I still think that the animation style could be improved quite a lot. To be specific, while there is some shading to provide a little bit of depth, there isn’t enough to keep things from looking flat.

Further, I wish there was just a tad more detail put into characters’ eyes, outfit designs, and the positions they pose in.

A Quick Summary of a Business Management Sim Meets Harem Game

Since I understand that some people are busy or just like boiling a game down to its essential, here’s my brief rundown.

This business simulator puts you in the position of being a fresh porn director with dreams of making it big. You get to customize your avatar, not to mention select the pervy performers’ body types, skin tones, and loads of other features.

While the rendering could be better, the options during the sex scenes are pretty thorough. All in all, I’d say this a four-hand game worth taking for a whirl and maybe using for a wank.

The most up-to-date version will only cost you a dollar, so you don’t have to have much to start playing. Even if you’re wary about this sim, the version before that is available for free. So, you’ve got almost nothing to lose, and there is a good deal of potential to have fun playing.
