But you’re all probably wondering why I’m going on about school clubs when I’m supposed to be talking about a kinky sex game? Well, it just so happens that Sunrider Academy is a kinky game built around managing clubs while you go about your year-long quest to secure a hot piece of ass to date. Sounds easy enough, right? I guess we’ll see how you handle it. This game isn’t nearly as easy as it fucking sounds.

It was launched back in 2015 by a talented team of developers known as Love in Space. There are a whole slew of “Sunrider” titles that they’ve crafted over the years. This one is a side-story that doesn’t focus so much on space waifus and giant galactic battles. The game is currently on version 1.02 and is considered completed. You can expect maybe the occasional bug-fix or add-on, but the main game is polished and done. You can grab a copy of the game on Steam for the decently low-price of $9.99. You can support their current project “Sunrider 4,” but you’ll need to check Steam for all of their other titles.

Go from Nerdy Weeb to Outgoing Club-Leader

The story starts off with your character Kayto Shields playing some video game that he keeps dying at. Your petite loli of a little sister comes over and calls you a nerd who won’t get any girls if you keep wasting your goddamn time. Apparently, all you’ve done all summer is play this shit. With the school year starting tomorrow, your little sister issues you a challenge: get a girlfriend before the year is up or you’ll have to suffer her immeasurable disappointment in you. That seems to be a fate worse than death, so you take her up on her challenge and head to school. You run into this weird chick with a bubbly personality who might be a few cards short of a deck if you get what I’m saying. She’s the head of the student council and she dutifully appoints you to be the club manager since the last dude didn’t do a good job. It’s your task to go and whip these boring, lame clubs into shape.

A Surprisingly Challenging Visual Novel

It won’t be as easy as it sounds. There are quite a few factors that go into how well you run these clubs. Each day has a set number of hours for you to go to class, eat, and then help out at the clubs. The most important thing that you need to do is keep members coming back. Losing all of the members in any of your clubs can result in a game-over, so make sure you save pretty frequently. Some of your personal stats like charisma, luck, intelligence, and athletics come into play depending on the club. If you’re not very smart, then you might botch research or experiments at the science club. Doing shit well will boost club morale, and the opposite is true for when you fuck up. If morale falls too much, then you’ll start dropping members like flies. You don’t want that. It’s important to make sure that you balance recruitment efforts and club participation so that the current members stay happy. It’s much more time-intensive to gain members than it is to lose them. And there’s only one big recruitment drive each year, so you’ll only be able to get so many people involved.

Do Your Best to Manage Your Time, Money, Stats, and Resources

As well as balancing your club activities, you’ll be able to earn money and go on dates! Just make sure you leave some time for some self-care or you could get overly stressed and get sick. You can make conversation with all of these cute club waifus. Just make sure that you pay attention and talk about topics that they want to discuss, otherwise, you won’t get anywhere with them. There’s no meter that I could find that shows affection, but, eventually, these cuties will let get frisky with them. It’s a very, very slow burn of a game that will take a good hour or two before you get to see any kind of lewd scenes. While the game is slow going, the writing is spot-on. It can be cringey at times, but that’s just because this is a hentai waifu dating simulator. You don’t just make one of these kinds of games without a healthy dose of cringe. Each character will have a unique personality, and I liked how each babe had her own font color and style. Of course, Sunrider Academy’s visuals are fucking great. You get detailed illustrations for each waifu over an artfully done 3D-style backdrop.

The h-scenes are pretty fucking hot. I don’t know if they’re worth the hours of gameplay it takes to get to them, but they’re still fappable as fuck. You get uncensored illustrations of these cute sluts in full HD glory. There are multiple scenes for each girl, so it’s worth diving deep and trying to unlock as many as you can on your first playthrough. It’d be nice if the game was voiced, but at least you get some kinky tunes to go along with each fuck scene.

This is a solid visual novel. I’m not usually huge on these types of text-slogs, but I had a good time with Sunrider Academy. The characters are genuinely interesting and had me fucking cracking up a few times with the humor. The story is simple, but the execution is solid. You really have to put your thinking caps on to get through this game without failing a few times. It feels like being back in college again trying to juggle class, friends, dating, and extracurriculars. They hit that feeling right on the head with this shit. And, of course, every waifu is fucking great. You’ve got all of your standard weeb girl personalities like bubbly, tsundere, nerd, athletic, etc. There’s a hot babe to romance for all of you picky cucks out there. Plus, the uncensored hentai illustrations were so fucking fappable. If you’re a waifu-addict who is down with really working for these scenes, then you’ll be quite pleased with everything that this game has to offer.

My main suggestion for games like these is almost always to bring out the hot h-scenes sooner. I don’t care if it’s just a dream sequence. Give me something to jerk off to in the first 10-15 minutes of the game so that I want to come back for some more. I’m not about to settle in for a 1+ hour game if I don’t know what the h-scenes are going to be like later on. I want a taste! I know this shit is all wrapped up, but some voice acting would have been nice. Having some slutty voice actress do my favorite waifu’s voice gets me so much more invested compared to just having text.

Overall, Sunrider Academy is one of the better visual novel games that I’ve played recently. It’s actually pretty fucking challenging. You don’t often get that sort of intensity from a game like this. Track your stats, manage your time, and avoid becoming a complete and utter failure. But you get to date cute waifu girls why you do all of that, so it balances out. Dive into this long-ass game with tens of hours of content for you to really sink yourself into. Plus, you get tons of uncensored hentai illustrations to jerk your dick to. It’s a pretty damn good deal for a game that you can get for around 10 bucks.
